Regenerative medicine is an interdisciplinary field focused on the functional reparation of life-essential organs or on the organs' function improvement. At Biomedical Center we interface scientific fields including cellular and molecular biology, genomics, quantitative histology, proteomics and biochemistry with clinical solution of liver and oncological diseases, kidney and heart failure in sepsis, regeneration of nervous system or development of bone and joint scaffolds. The strong cooperation in these fields will lead to the development of promising therapeutic approaches and technologies aimed to patients' survival or health improvement.
